I'm looking to save myself some time and trouble in the future. I really like Easy Grammar, though I prefer the simplicity of Daily Grams. I also really love dictation because it's helping my child immensely with his listening skills and concentration.

What I'd like to find is something which has dictation passages already selected for me from great quotes and literature, but which also explains the reasons behind certain spellings or punctuations.

I really don't have a lot of time to put my own together. Does anyone know if something like this exists, or will we have to do dictation and daily grams separately?

If we do them separately I want to be sure the dictation selections follow the rules of grammar - a lot of good literature sometimes breaks the rules!

Queens Homeschool is a company that produces good copywork books. You might check them out. Personally, I would never buy a book; it's too easy to get your own without the expense.

I've used Queen's stuff before - and that was my thought - how easy it would have been to come up with my own. I'm not only looking for passages though - I'd like to find a resource that also has the grammar rules in conjunction with it. What I'm dreaming of would be something that looks a lot like daily grams, but with the focus on a dictation passage, with the rules following.

I'm really just looking to save myself time. Right now I'm doing easy grammar and I'm finding my own dictation, and I thought it would be awesome if I could morph them into one prepackaged thing. :) I don't want to drop the dictation - it's really working well for us, but the grammar would be nice if it were presented together with the introduction of the passage.
