Help!...I'm trying to find where I can get a digital photography textbook (student/teacher) for high school. I was wondering if anyone here might know where I can look. Thanks
Rainbow resource has some books and a unit study. http://www.rainbowresource.com/search.php?sid=1215571339-1807790 If the link doesn't work, go to their website and search "photography". HTH RHonda
I don't know about the teacher's manual, but if you're looking for a great deal on a text book, go to the college bookstore (or an off campus store with better prices). You'll be able to find a great used book that would be ideal for a High School student.
have you looked at like kodak's site? I know when I bought my first digital they had a course there. I think there are also others.. and there is a "Digital Photography for Dummies" book... as long as your kiddo wouldn't take the for dummies part the wrong way, I love those books!
CBD's new Homeschool Sale catalog came in the mail yesterday....It had one on photography in there for grades 4 and up. It's on the unit study page. It's called Photography 101 by Kym Wright.
http://www.christianbook.com/Christ...t_redirect=1&Ntk=keywords&Ntt=photography 101 there is the link to the book mentioned above, I am looking at it right now ... itlooks like a good book on traditional photography but no mention of digital in the table of contents...
Thank you so much ladies, you all are awesome! I have some great places to start looking at. I'll post and let you know what I end up buying.
This is the book that I finally decided to buy for our photography class. Someone had posted it on here but then the post vanished. So thank you for the link who ever you were. I should be getting it in a few days ( can't wait) http://www.teachingarts.org/resourceGallery/informational/readRecord$recnum=2158
WOW! That is awesome! I was engulfted in the expanse of the sample alone! 111 pages of sample is rare! WOW! HOw much was it? I didn't see where it noted that information did I miss something while I was in awe? I am thinking I want to order this one too! Even though we don't plan on teaching it as a subject yet, we have 6 more years of schooling in this family!
with shipping it cost me $66.25. But I ordered the printed book that comes with a CD. You can also puy the E-book version ( much cheaper) or just the printed version alone ( a little cheaper). I was very excited to find this one, by far out of all the books I've been looking for this one has the most info. I can't wait to get it in a few days.
