Do you ever have a day..... where you get out of bed happy to be homeschooling and you can't wait until dc is up and ready to go..only to find that your child no longer speaks the same language as you?

I guess it is just one of those days!

I find myself telling myself "Did I really say that out loud or did I just think it? Cause everyone's acting like I never said a word."

Nope, not me. I have the perfect homeschool life! I am the perfect homechool Mom. I have perfect homeschooled children, who do exactly as they are supposed to; in our perfect homeschool world.

I want to buy some magic beans!

We have many days where my son says, "What? Today we are doing school?" I always wondered why my son would think it is not a school day. It is our usual school day. He has been doing this for eight years. :)

you sound like you have a teen in your house. A bumper sticker I once saw said, Teenagers;why wild animals eat their young.

I have those days, mostly with my 5yo, but my 7yo sometimes has his moments too! Right now they are both eagerly waiting for the postman to deliver all our boxes, I have lots coming!

My sister says children are born as babies to give thier parents a chance to fall in love with them before they become teenagers. I don't know how she got to be so smart. Mine too question me to see if it is a school day. I just don't get it. Oh yeah, one of them is 17so that probably explains it.

I just don't understand why they don't listen. I have to have my 15 year old repeat back to me what I just said sometimes, so he can't use the excuse, "I didn't hear you."
