I'm on my way out the door to a doctor appointment this afternoon and I'd really appreciate some prayers. It's basically just a routine appointment, but I've worked myself up over it and my nerves are shot. I know my weight's up and BP is up since my last appointment and I haven't really been doing what I was supposed to. Would you please pray for my nerves to settle down and for my appointment to go well? Thanks!
Thank you both! The appointment went okay, pretty much what I expected. Some of my labs and my BP were up. She made adjustments to some meds to help. The surprise was that their scale showed I had lost 1 1/2 pounds since my last appointment. (My scale showed I had gained a few.) For the past two years, every appointment has brought some new problem or possible problem to deal with and some new Dr. to visit. I always get nervous about what she might find... Nothing new this time, just some things to keep an eye on to make sure the med adjustments are working. Yea! And I don't have to go back until December!
sorry I miss this.. Glad all went like you thought. I know I hate going there too. I think my b/p doubles when I think about it. (((HUGS))))
