Hi all.. We were watching the trailer for the new Tintin yesterday, and Dh was "shocked" to see the use of guns and alchohol in a PG rated movie. I told him that has always been a part of the books, and it never bothered me or my parents, but he says in this pc world of ours, it's shocking that they allowed it to stay at pg. For those of you who've seen the movie, is this rating justified? Btw, I think European comics were always more liberal with these things. Anyone know of Asterix and Obelisk, and how they were drunk half the time? Captain Haddock with his Lochlomond whiskey, and even Tintin got drunk occasionally... And these were comics aimed at kids like me, who just took it in stride.
