Just wondering if anyone has any tips for selling on ebay. I'm cleaning out dd's closet and found nearly all her winter things are outgrown and I need money to be able to get more. Normally I do a consignment sale locally but they didn't have it this year in the fall so I couldn't trade her clothes in that way:( I've rarely sold on ebay and sometimes I do really well(a stuffed bunny that was a shower gift I got over $20 for and my mom told me she only spent $2 on it) Then other times I don't get anything but 99cents for things. Any tips or advice? Is craigslist better for selling stuff? I've had almost no luck on craigslist no matter how cheap I make things I htink mostly cause I live in the country and am "too far away" for most people even for a good deal.

I'm interested in comments, too. I listed a huge amount of stuff on craigslist and got one sale. People here just aren't into craigslist. I've done consignment before, but don't know of any sales here. I've never had luck at those chain ones, because they want to give you almost nothing for things. I haven't sold anything on eBay in years and was wondering whether it would be worth it.

You can set a minimun amount for thing on eBay, but I don't know if it hurts your sale.

Well when we moved we sold on both.

Now on e bay you have to make sure you ad the shipping into the cost of what you are selling.. like if its coat and you are asking 10 for it you need to add 5 or so for shipping. Now some will think that is high for a used coat. Make sure you tell them if there is ripes, tears or anything else in it.. take a picture front and back and make them clear.

now for clothing I would do craigslist and if you are to far out in the country couldn't you meet them in town at the library or store
