Does anyone on the board use Emealz.com and, if so, what is your opinion? I happened to see a lady in town and she had a printout that had "Emealz" at the top so I was curious. It looks neat but I'm just not sure if it's worth the time and/or money. Thanks in advance for your input.
I'm thinking it might be worth it if you're not a super organized person. I'm sure people can save more than the $1.25 per week it costs just by having a list (people who don't otherwise shop via list). I might be inclined to try it once. But I'm skeptical because my family is so super picky. I.e. we don't eat pork or pork products. And DH won't eat any bird (he worked in a Tyson plant once). I'm on Weight Watchers, which I see they have a plan for, but my children need higher fat foods because of their metabolism. I think there just might be too many constraints, but again, might be worth trying.
We're not that picky although dh and I are trying to eat low cal and I don't see a plan for that. I normally make a menu each week and have done so for many years. This helps me make my weekly list and keeps my from buying a lot of stuff that I don't need. I also clip coupons and take advantage of in-store/instant coupons and make WalMart price match. This past week I saved $60.83 by doing so! It takes some time but I actually enjoy it. I try to take my Sunday afternoon to go through my coupons and sale ads with a fine tooth comb to find the best deals possible. I'm thinking that this might still be a good way to continue to help save. Just curious to see if there was anyone actually using it and what they had to say. Guess we'll wait and see. Thanks for your input, Amie!!
Hey, singer4him! I haven't heard of Emealz, but for lowcal meals, or if your trying to loose weight or so on, I use Sparkpeople.com . It's like weight watchers, but it's free completely. They also can give you shopping lists for each week. Check it out, it might be worth it to you!
