I have a jointed bear that my mom's best friend brought over from Germany when I was born. It doesn't have a tag, so it's not really worth as much as I'd like. I set it out on the changing table in my kids' nursery. One of them (probably Faythe!) managed to get the eye off. I took it to my friend who makes artistic dolls, and she was able to fix it for me.

One to play with and one to keep.My grandma every year bought us clothes. never toys. The toys are what I remember. My other grandma gave us cookies and toys.Her toys weren't extravigant .She only spent a couple dollars each. I lost count at 40 grandkids.Good thing that woman loved to bake.
