We homeschool through an amazing charter school. Every year we buy our curriculum and enroll the kids in the classes they would like to take, then still have tons of funding left over. I am looking for suggestions on what to get. What are your favorite games, kits, etc.? Basically if it has educational value and you love it, I want to know about it. TIA

http://www.teachwithmovies.org/ OOOOh! this looks cool! Going to check it out now. I just watched To Sir, With Love yesterday. What a classic! Thanks for your link.
Can you use it for memberships to museums, zoos, science centers, botanical gardens, etc? Otherwise, Snap Circuits, chemistry sets, microscope, terrarium with little critters, fish tank, the 10 Days in ----- series of geography games, Hop Off, and lots of art supplies.
Not really a fun product as in different or unusual, but I cannot talk enough about Life of Fred math books. If your child doesn't like math for whatever reason, I highly recommend life of Fred. It's told as a story and my kids enjoy them so much they sleep with their books and read them by flashlight in the middle of the night. The latest is that I gave them 2 weeks off and they both refused to give up Fred for the break.
My kids (4 & 7) both LOVE LOVE LOVE Rory's Story Cubes (as do I) It can be played MANY different ways, perfect for many ages, and it's great to work on many different language skills. And it's under $10! Hands down one of my favorite homeschool products ever for price and versatility!
