Hey again! Does anyone know if there are any homeschool groups in southern arkansas? The closest I've found is Texarkana and its too much of a stretch for us. Also, who in the world does one contact to find out if there is a local girl scout troop? I contacted the main office in Pine Bluff and wasn't able to find out anything. I am currently in the Ouachita, Columbia, Union county area. If anyone has any information i would GREATLY appriciate it!

Have you been to arkansashomeschool.org? I don't know what town you are in, but there are several homeschool groups listed in south arkansas. If you are rural, you may not find one close by! Good luck. It helps to have local support! We are just 10-15 miles from Conway, so we are covered.
Homeschooling is not very popular in my area, but I was hoping there was something somewhere as I have no form of support except for here. I did check out arkansashomeschool.org and found a group in my area I'm waiting to hear back. Thank you Shilman! Now if I could just track down those girl scouts and some thin mints I'd be firing on all cylinders!

I second the thanks to JosieB! I knew of a not very active group 30 minutes away but was able to find one closer with lots of younger families!
