Today was our first day of school, first day homeschooling after 2 years in church school, and it went as smoothly as I could hope for. In fact the 3rd grader said it didn't even feel like school. I know it is only the first day, but I really think that Trail Guide to Learning is going to be a great fit for us. The 6th grader LOVES Teaching Textbooks so far, he did 2 lessons, LOL. Here's hoping we have lots more day like this.

You are so right, Angie. Today is not a "bad" day, but going very differently than yesterday. They are easily distracted and taking forever to get things done. And thanks for the reminded that I need to change my signature. My guys recently turned 9 and 12, where does time go?
