Today was so beautiful with the sunshine and warm-ish temps... the boys were in the middle of writing out their book reports, when I suddenly decided, "Hey! Why not do them outside!?"

They were thrilled with the idea and grabbed a clipboard and took off...

    I grabbed some shots...

    Zack is on the trampoline!!!!

Connor is on the lounge chair...

I wish we had a hammock or two....

Got any of your children studying in "UnNormal" places? (ie: Not at a desk?)

Jenn, I would love to be able to school outside right now, but it was -4 when we started school this morning.

A crazy place to school - can't think of one right now, but will try something crazy tomorrow.

    I love the hammock!

I am still having problems posting pics. I never had this problem up until recently.

Anyways, Ems does some of her school work in the house she made inside the Juniper tree.

When the weather is nice we do school on our porch or the roof. LOL...we have a "porch" thingy off the second floor..the kids call it the roof.

    The bathroom "throne".
My oldest will take it with her in there because she doesn't want to forget what was in her head at that time, so she will just keep on writing!!

My youngest LOVES to do schoolwork in her closet, with the doors shut, with a flashlight or battery powered lantern!!
I will let her if it is "fun" schoolwork ( brain teaser puzzles, stuff like that) that we are doing.

When the weather is nice here we head to the park and do schoolwork.
We go to the library, I get some magazines, then we walk to the park from the library, do some work, play , feed the ducks, do some more work, have lunch, take a walk around park, then head home. We are there for 5-6 hours in all.
    I just love those days!
    Where is Spring already??!!!

Jen, I'm soooo jealous of you kiddos in shorts!

This past fall we would set up a card table in our back yard and work back there. We've talked about taking work to a nearby walking park along with a lunch but then gas went sky high and we never got around to doing it.

Oh My Stars Crystal when you were typing the bathroom throne I thought for sure you were writing about my youngest little one. She goes in there alot and does her work, we joke with her and say she must want a A because she goes in there and stays till she is done and comes back with wonderful work. Some of her best I might say. I always tell her she must have a ring around her butt...

Another place was in our garage on the pool table holding there kitty before he past away.

Spring it's here it was 80 here today no rain yet.

I don't have a picture of it but my son did his math work once on the swing at the playground and the little one was doing his color sheet on the slide
