Please pray that my anxiety goes down please. Since I lost my dog, I can not help but keep imagining the worst things that could have happened to her while she is out there alone. Thinking about her sleeping outside on cold nights (thankfully not snow or rain right now) makes me anxious and helpless. I've watched too many Animal Control TV shows and keep imagining the worst case scenario for her. I have a tremendous amount of guilt. I have been crying off an on since We realized she was lost. We are going on 24 hours and she has not been posted on Craigslist or any of the animal shelter lists. She is microchipped and wasn't wearing her collar because she had just gotten a bath and I forgot to put it back on her. :cry::cry: I am home alone this weekend as DH and the kids went to his parent's house for the weekend.
Praying for you. Until a year and a half ago, I never understood how attached people got to their pets. Last December (2011) we got a rescue dog. I would literally shrivel up and die if anything happened to her! I <3 that dog so stinkin' much....never was much of a dog person. Praying that your furbaby is safe and finds her way back to you. This story is encouraging me to chip my dog!!!
