Great grocery shopping deal, especially to stock up for the upcoming holiday food drives we all come across. At Fry's, ther are many Betty Crocker/General Mills items on sale for $1 or $1.25 (potato items, mac & cheese--my store was out, cakes, frostings, etc.). Buy 5 items and get a catalina for $5. I bought 20 items for just over $23 and received $20 in catalinas. For details and a list of items check out :http://www.thecentsableshoppin.com/...5-save-5-many-free-cheap-or-moneymaker-items/ For even better savings, go to www.coupons.com for for some of the cereals, the potatoes, and hamburger helper (like I said, even if you won't eat it, you can donate it).
the kids love the new Betty crocker Mac n' cheese... you cook it with the water, butter and milk with the raw mac I wish I knew that sale yesterday!
A catalina is the coupons that print out at the cash register. We went into Tucson last night to see if we could find the mac and cheese, shelf was empty. We did print coupons and got $183 worth of stuff for $10 and this morning I realized that if I had thought it through better, we could have received one more $5 catalina making it only $5. Our goal was to not only add to our stock, but donate to the food bank. Let me track down my picture, I was so proud of myself.
Ok, so Fry's there and Fry's here must be two different things. It's not a grocery store. It's an electronics/computer/geek/appliance store. http://frys.com/
I wish someone would teach me how to do that. I can never get that good of deals like you all. No matter what you all say go to this store get this and get with this coupon I go to that store and the deals aren't there.
