Has anyone found any free foreign language programs or websites that they like? I have a 2nd grader, so I'm just looking for something easy and fun.

Our public library offers Mango Languages. You might want to check your libary to see if they offer it too.

Go to Rainbow Resource Center and they have simple, very basic, language workbooks for a low price. There are pictures to help the child identify the word. I will say that most are not conversational launguage but rather words referring colors, objects, basic greetings. I think that is a good start for a 2nd grader.

Look at Song School Latin and/or Song School Greek from http://classicalacademicpress.com/. We did the Latin one and loved it! We'll do the Greek one in another year or two. They're for K-2nd (personally, I say 1st-2nd, because it assumes you can already read and write... some K'ers can't do that yet), and the Latin one will have a 2nd volume coming out soon.
