Currclick has an online Lego club for homeschoolers, it's a live online class offered once per month and it is FREE!!! This month's class is on October 24th, at 1pm central and it is recorded if you can't be online at that time! This month's class theme is Pirates! You get a list in advance of materials needed, and the classes feature a lesson and then an interactive building session. It's really neat and my boys love it! This month we are going to need a very large base plate, which I found on amazon, and using swagbucks rewards I only paid 1.94 for TWO 32 x 32 base plates (larger than the required 25 x 25, but I figure it'll serve us well).
