Free Math Software (high School)

    It may not make sense to buy your high school student an expensive graphing calculator for algebra and precalculus when they don't need to take it anywhere. MathGV graphs functions on your computer with nice colors and a much larger window than you get on a graphing calculator. I have used this software on both Windows XP and Vista.

    Thank you!! My DS is only in 8th grade but this will save us money in the years to come.

    This is great! I was just considering buying a TI graphing calculator. Now we can save the $100 until our kids need one for college!

    Great to know! (Though we already have a TI, because Carl teaches math.) Still, I will pass this info on to him. Rachael was fussing to her dad just yesterday that the calculator she was using didn't present stuff the way it did in her curriculum. I think her dad showed her how to adjust things.

    Doodlemom, don't wait TOO long! If you go to the website, he very clearly states that he wants to sell this eventually!
