    Hello!

I am still working on the AccuWeather Weather Teams that I discussed before. The project has been tied up for awhile as it works its way thru channels ... so we are working on building Weather Teams a little differently than I expected. I wanted to roll out this beautiful site (which is getting the layers plugged in even as we speak) with all the bells and whistles. They will be along shortly ...

If you would like to start a weather team please sign up for the Photo Gallery here so we can include you in the initial roll out. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this fun way to learn and meet others students from around the world. We have made some amazing connections that I can't reveal but let's just say the learning opportunities are endless and eye opening .... and we will be making a difference while learning about each other.

All photos and comments are strictly moderated.

Here is a link to sign up. All you need is a Weather Team name. Please make sure the two words Weather and Team is in your name like Rainy Day Homeschool Weather Team. When you post photos please use the tag Educational so they are easy to find.

Here is a link to sign up:

All you need is an email address, which can be obtained at yahoo.com for free. You do not have to enter a zip code unless you want your weather to show up on the Team page once it is ready. You can use a neighboring town if you want to remain anonymous.

Many of the photographers have signed up to help and you will be seeing improvements weekly as we work on getting this up and running.

Anyone who signs up a Weather Team that needs free science and weather lessons please PM me ... they are grade K thru 12. They are free.

Here is a link to the original thread if you weren't here for it ...

I will contact those that were interested individually tomorrow after work .. I have to get up at 4 am, sorry.

Please sign up so they will see the need to keep it all going ... and hire me so I can actually make a living wage. Part time minimum is really scaring me, especially when I can do so much good with this program.

And, the more teams that start up the more important the website will be ... and the faster we can help the children who need it the most ... those searching for a way to connect with their parents as they are overseas in the military.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

It is open for everyone, everywhere and is totally free. If you can't figure out how to sign up just pm me your information and I will set it up for you ....

I am particularly excited about helping the kids stay connected with their parents overseas ... and anyone can comment the pictures on the site ...

You can sign up for free ... or, just check out the photos and not sign up if you want.
