Hi everyone. I'm keen to homeschool my children (I only got one at the moment, hoping that will change one day). I'm a high school teacher and want to homeschool even more. I also want to start my own school that is as much as homeschooling as I can imagine. So I'm here to figure out the kinks with my own child and to get inspiration for this school. I'm a single mum and will need some income, so I thought taking in a few more (dozen or two) kids whose parents wanted to homeschool, but feel they can't would work. Or perhaps the final two years as you can't do them at home here. But for now, hi everyone.
Monkeysmum ~ welcome to the wonderful world of homeschooling! As a teacher you already have a leg up starting out of the gate. Have fun pouring truth into your child! Your investment will be well worth it.
I'm American but I have lived in the UK for a bit. It's good to have a forum with people from around the world. You get a better perspective on things! Loving it so far!
Hello monkeysmum! I can not imagine what life would be like without homeschooling! We are in our 22nd year and many more to go until our youngest graduates! ~Belinda
