okay, I love to swing, I love to watch LH-ot P , I love gymnastics, last time I tried a cartwheel though I landed on a rock and damaged my heel, that was the begining of a long stream of injuries! lol! So I have not done much since hehe. (4 yrs ago) I love to dance I love to sing I love to do most anything! HAHAH! I like to dance at home with my husband. Does that count, Monkey Mamma? We make up our own steps while we sing, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," & the kids think we're nuts! I also like to swing outside & like the "Little House" books & videos, especially the ones featuring KS! lol 1. I have a private pilot's license. (Beth, I couldn't resist telling you that, but I'm sorry your friend died in a plane crash.) 2. When I was young, my mother sewed most of my clothes. 3. I feel like giving up on politics.
Prairie not only does that count as dancing - that is the best kind of dancing!! We do that at our house too and of course we get those looks from the kids that seem to say "Eeewwww Gross!!!!!" 1. I am petrified of flying 2. I can do a backflip 3. I can not rollerblade at all
Prairie--When I was young, my mom sewed all my clothes too. One year we finally put some brand new clothes on lay-away at K-Mart! (Does that show my age? :lol: ), and paid on it through the summer (we were quite poor). When it was near school time, we made the last payment and brought the clothes home. I was so excited to have store-bought clothes! BUT, when I tried them on, they didn't fit---I had grown four inches in that 2 1/2-3 month time frame, and they were too small! So my sister got them ALL, and my mom whipped out a funky dress for me to wear my first day of school! Oh well... I used to be able to do a back flip---as long as it was from a diving board or the side of a pool! Does that count? 1. I love the smell of roses 2. burgandy is one of my favorite colors 3. Jennifer, I ended up with hand-me downs also--from two of my older BOY cousins! What's with that?! My older sister (who after my 4 inch spurt was shorter than me!) got hand-me downs from our older, rich, girl cousin, so they were gorgeous! I got jeans and western shirts! No WONDER I was a tomboy! I also am refreshed by the looks & smell of newly mowed grass lawns or alfalfa, and we have old-fashioned roses that really must smell like heaven! I also make joyful noises! And I can relax by looking at water--especially water falls--or imagining myself at sea while doing tractor work in the fields. And I've always been a "book worm." 1. I journal 2. I believe that JOY is the natural state of a Christian, but I don't always find myself there. 3. I crave salvation & a walk of holiness for each of my children, children-in-law, & grandchildren.
