I've been doing some reading and research and I think I have decided to try a gluten free diet. Our middle daughter has Aspergers and there is some evidence that gluten processing can be an issue for her so we are going to give it a go.

Does anyone have a gluten free bread recipe or any other recipes or products that they could recommend?

I used to be gluten-free, and had a blog at the time

    www.goingglutenfree.blogspot.com

    :D

To the right are links to some other awesome gluten-free blogs.

    Also, All-Recipes has gluten-free recipes.

Look for the bread recipe on my blog - it links to one on allrecipes.com, it was awesome.

My favorite premade bread products wayback when were KinnickKinnick, but I believe that there are tons of new products on the market now. My favorite pasta was Tinkyada.

    :D

    Good luck!!!!

I have been gluten free for 3 years as a way to deal with my ulcerative colitis. I was always struggling with finding new recipes and snacks until I found a monthly delivery service that helps keep it interesting. I get bored with food pretty easily and thus, always have to find new and different ways to prepare gluten free recipes. Feel free to message me if you want specific suggestions. Good luck

We had a house guest today that needs to be gluten free and she was served with gluten free bread with fillings, instead of tortilla wraps.

I am not gluten free, but have been making gluten free cookies for years. (due to money, they are cheap to make!).

    1 cup pb
1 cup sugar (I like brown sugar, or a mix of white and brown)
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

You can add 3/4 to 1 cup of oatmeal (if you can find gluten free oatmeal).

Of chocolate chips, or what ever other candy that you like (That is gluten free).

You can press into a pan and bake as a "bar" cookie, or roll out and mush with your thumb individual cookies.

Bake at 350 for 10 minutes for individual cookies. And for 20 minutes for bar cookies.
