You'll be surprised what you can do. When Dh was deployed I fixed our freezer that he never did :lol:, painted and redecorated kids room and kitchen, redecorated our room and several other projects. I know you've been told this a lot, but I hope you can find comfort and strength in those of us who say " it will be okay." As for the whiskers- that can be up to him after he's done with boot camp and school. Dh has a wonderful gote(sp- that doesn't look right) and he'll shave it off the day before he leaves for drill. On a side note- be prepared for the attention he'll get. Women love a man in uniform. Especially the Class A dress uniform. I've seen lots of flirting but it also feels good when "I'm" the one whose on his arm. I have to admit- he does look good in a uniform!! Your strength and selflessness is truly admirable.
