Can anyone tell me what they're using for math for this grade?

I've looking at Saxon but see I need to figure out if we should go with 87 or Algebra 1/2.
I just looked at teaching Textbooks. Way out of my budget but they sound wonderful.
We've used regular textbooks (usually old private school books) off and on.
We've used Singapore but I don't think they go this high.

    Help!

Take the Saxon placement test, and it will tell you which one to be placed in.

I've actually used an old school textbook for pre-algebra. It's Merrill Pre-Algebra: A Problem-Solving Approach. I actually finished it last Monday with Faythe, but it's not for sale because I'll need it for Phillip. It's worked very well with both my girls.

We like TT, out of my budget too, but you can find it used usually for a good price. You don't need the workbook until you get to pre-alg.

They are a year behind most homeschool programs, so definately take the placement to see where you need to be.

I have been known to let bills slide to make sure we had the money for TT.

I think I will look at TT when I go to conference next month. I just have reservations about spending beaucoup bucks on something that might not work for us. Too bad there isn't a place to borrow it to see if its for us...
