I'm new to this forum and will start home schooling soon as my first turns 4 this Summer. We have been working with her on phonemic awareness and have been looking for online resources. Please share some of yours in this thread as I would love to know what people use. One resource I found is k6elearning on youtube. I think it's a relatively new site, but they have free videos posted and everything seems aligned to common core standards. I messaged the site and asked if they had any videos for preschool/kinder and they said that they will be uploading them this summer. I also found edhelper and eduplace to be great resources, but they charge you for membership. Thanks, I hope to learn from many of you here and share great ideas!
www.starfall.com is wonderful and FREE. There's more that you can pay for, but the free stuff is great.
thanks! How do you all manage printing out worksheets and what not? I want to have physical books, paper, etc, but don't know where to start.
For a 4 year old, I would google tracing pages, scissor practice, shapes, ABCs, etc. just google what you are looking for and you will normally find what you need in the first couple sites listed. I did just discover a webpage yesterday http://softschools.com that had some great worksheets for my 1st grader. They've got PreK and K as well. http://www.tlsbooks.com/preschoolworksheets.htm kidslearningstation.com
