I just got some today at the commissary. They are .70 a bag. I will probably use them most of the time, but I like it there because they only use paper bags, and sometimes I need those for crafts!
I actually used to big VERY big on labels... As a kid, we didn't have money for the desiner jeans of th eearly 80's. I found a pair of guess jeans torn up in a thrift store... I bought them, picked off the triangle lable and sewed it on a cheap-o brand of jeans.... Sigh..... Thankfully I have fully recovered.. hahhaa!
I also bought 10 of the Walmart cloth bags. They are really spacious and holds a lot of groceries. I use them at Aldi's and no they do not have the logo on them. I love them. My husband carries his stuff back and forth to work with him, too. He loves them as well. We also take them to the library. I leave them in the car for when we need them. I never thought to take them to Walmart and let them use the cloth bags to bag my groceries. I will try that next pay day
I just bought 2 the other day. I tried a new grocery store called Bottom Dollar (basically Food Lion's new lowest prices, not many choices store). Anyway, I didn't realize until I got there that it was a bag it yourself store. So I could buy plastic for a nickel or their orange cloth bags for a $1 each. I opted to get the cloth ones and I keep them in my car. Didn't really like the store as much as I had hoped but it's better than the commissary on payday! We've used the bags for lots of things so I didn't waste by $2....kind of wish they weren't bright orange and said Bottom Dollar but oh well. I've seen plain ones now but we'll keep using the orange ones (hard to lose them even in my trashed van/mom-taxi.) Rhonda C.
I haven't seen them at our commissary but I agree with getting the paper bags. We use them for our recyclables until it gets full and then carry them to the huge outside recycle container. Rhonda C.
