I know none of you are perfect all of the time.... not even Jackie:lol:. So here is where you can "spill the beans"...... what is your guilty pleasures? mine in no particular order: doughnuts (and its been way too long since I've had any) anything chocolate (don't be weird not chocolate ants or anything gross) I read the 50 shades of Grey and loved it! -- can't wait for the movie! and up until I read the books (just finished book 9) of " true blood) I was thinking the show was kind of gross or too far fetched but after I read the books I liked the charicters more...... but the books are not too much like the show.. I also spend more time on the computer than I should....... shopping!...... I love finding a good bargain. ok ...... what do you guys do, read, watch, or eat...... that we'd love to hear about?
My guilty pleasures... I drink waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much coffee. I've been know to hide chocolate from my kids and sneak and eat it. I like horror films.
Chocolate...especially dark chocoate! Starbucks' Frappuccinos (This is a rare treat, because as much as I love them, they are pricey!!) I'm a Survivor addict--haven't missed a single season!
I don't know that I'd call them guilty indulgences as I do not feel guilty. Ha! I love the show Scrubs. Still. Even after being off air for several years. I love coffee. A lot. During the summer my treat of choice (other than more coffee) is ice cream. During the winter my treat of choice (other than even more coffee) is, well, sugar. Anything baked with sugar. I do have one indulgence that makes me feel slightly guilty when I have cleaning to do around the house. Reading. However, once I get my steaming, yummy cup of coffee, settle into my cozy chair, and open the book, all guilt runs far, far away. Last but not least, commas. Yes, commas are a guilty pleasure. As seen in the above sentence, and this one, I like to use commas more than is grammatically necessary or correct.
Oh, and did I mention that YOU GUYS are my "other indulgence"? I spend WAAAAYYYYY to much time here, lol!!!
Homeschool Spot, Facebook, reading, Diet Coke (but I have cut WAY back) and my trips to the Goodwill Store. But I don't honestly feel guilty about any of it.
Coke Zero....I drink way way way too much of this. Sweets. Any kind. I'm an equal opportunity sweet eater. FB, HSSpot, Computer. Curriculum shopping. Not that I buy, but I love to look, dream, scheme. Sleeping. Any time of day. I love to sleep.
sleeping in Not brushing my hair and wearing my jammies all day on occasion PINTEREST!!!! LOTS of chocolate CRUSHED ICE.. I seriously CAN'T get enough of crushed ice.. The crunching drives my husband crazy.. I will go out of my way to get a drink from certain places because of the kind of ice they have.. Sonic and Chicken Express are my two favorites.. Usually just pour the drink out and eat the flavored ice..
Golly, now I know why I love it here so much! No matter the age, background, philosophical leanings, etc., ALL Y'ALL ARE JUST LIKE ME! Nobody's mentioned anything yet that I don't love too, and spend way too much time with. Except the ice - can't crunch it anymore because of sensitive teeth. Who doesn't love chocolate, coffee, the Spot, reading, all that stuff......
LOL, Mommix3! I also love hanging out in my jammies and not combing my hair. BTW, I've always been told that chomping ice all the time is a sign of anemia....
I was a major ice cruncher until I started having to have my teeth crowned because of it. I had low iron and still do sometimes but I won't even keep ice in the house. I would even freeze Diet Coke just so I could crunch the flavored ice. I am still paying on my dental work!
Hahahaha! I do the comma thing too! I am constantly editing myself! Exclamation points are also one of my grammatically guilty pleasures!
dots and popcorn balls how do you make them with caramel and that gives me a really good idea. we got some CHOCOLATE marshmallows I can make popcorn balls with it for the kids.. I'd said rice krispy treats because that's my GUILTY pleasure too... but we don't have rice krispies. and for the ones that said cammas.......................... <--------DOT....... Chocolate Fabric- I have gotten better at this one. I sometimes look and don't buy anything, but other times.... "The Walking Dead" - my son got me hooked on this show. I love it. I can't wait until next season. sleep-I love sleep. I sometimes keep myself going just knowing that the next day I can get some more sleep. I work night right now so sometimes the hours I sleep are crazy. fast food- this is the one I feel worst about. I really need to get this under control.
