Hi there, I'm Valerie. I'm married to Roger. We have moved to TN from CA in 1998 and live on a few acres in the country. We have a son, Justin-23, who is in Kuwait right now, awaiting redeployment into Iraq for the second time. We have a son, Brian-21, who lives here at home, works part-time and attends local college for a pre-engineering degree. We have a daughter, Veronica-18, who still lives at home, working part-time and attending local college for a nursing degree. And I am continuing 20 years of homeschooling with 10 year old Evan. I've always been a country girl at heart. I am currently nursing a bruise from a horse kick just a couple of hours ago. :lol: I think it's swelling, anybody have any ice?

Hi, Valerie! I'm from South Carolina and them mom to 4 kids dd-20, ds19, dd16, dd11 and the greatest gd who is now 9mo. We currently have 5 cats, 4 dogs, and a siberian hamster. This is my 2nd yr homeschooling and my first year schooling both of my girls. The youngest had been in ps up until this year. Hi, Valerie! Watch out! This spot is addicting! It's what any homeschooling mom would want in a support group, & it would be unbelievably wonderful if we could all get together sometime! Until I saw Beth's welcome & noticed that she had also been married for 35 years, I had claimed the record of being married the longest to the best... I concede--it's a tie, then. On the years part, that is! We have two grown children & two in high school. I like to encourage people to continue to hs for the long run. These high school years are great!
