Has anyone used this curriculum? I found them after I bought all of next years curricli from mfw...and I really regret buying mfw b/c I think clp looks amazing for my girl who loves workbooks and I think would thrive with this incredibly reasonably priced curriculi. I just contacted mfw wondering how painful the exchange process would be...they were incredibly sweet and helpful, but I still feel i'm leaning towards clp. Sigh...decisions decisions.

I never have used it....but I always drool over the catalog. Of course, I drool over MFW too! LOL :D

I do want to get their Science Readers just for fun, though. Not really to use for school. My son is a reader, reader, and learns a lot just by reading, so I'm thinking they'd be a fun addition without pressure.

Hoping to find used at SEARCH this year.

I recently got their catalog. I was impressed at the price and (tho I'm not Mennonite, but am conservative) all of it looked so clean and appropriate for wholesome learning.

Seems to me (though I really have no experience, just opinions - that's dangerous isn't it?? LOL) that at the very reasonable price it wouldn't be a bad idea to order and "try it out." If it didn't work you wouldn't have lost tooooo much and it might be just perfect!

Let us know what you decide and how it goes.

Oh...at their websete they have a sample pack where you can get the first booklet of each subject for just 10 bucks. I did that, anxiously awaiting! My girl looooves workbooks, and during the spring and fall we have events to go to almost weekly and have been getting much further behind on school than i would like. This seems to be greatly portable...and the price is unbelievable.

I haven't used it, but my aunt who homeschools for elementary school used it exclusively. (In fact, I have a stack of books she gave me that I don't plan to use and was planning to try and sell a few of them, cheap of course. PM me what grades you'd be interested in - I think I only have mostly second grade stuff, and some phonics/learning to read resources. I'll look again.)

Anyway, my aunt loves it and asks me every time I see her if I've switched yet. LOL ;)

I actually have part of their 2nd grade math we are going to be working on this summer, and then if all goes well, we plan to use the 3rd grade math as well. we have always used abeka, but we really needed to slow down, and while i think the pace is slower, it was encouraging to see they were right up with abeka on scope and sequence.

i hope it works for math. i have read nothing but good reviews on homeschool reviews dot com, lol, so hopefully it was worth the money. i am not mennonite either, lol, but conservative, and this looks like good stuff to me!! not so much color and activity to be distracting either.
