Just checking in to see if you are ok, I seen on the news where you all got alot of snow, everything was close, now you are getting rain all the roads are close with standing water. Be careful..
Hey, thanks for asking/commenting! Yep, we sure are getting pounded! We've had WAY more snow than normal---more than dd has ever seen here in her lifetime! Yeah, and now it's raining, a LOT! So, though the rain has melted almost all of our snow now (WooHoo!), there are areas that are flooding! I'm sooo glad we don't live in a flood zone! But I was at a Women's Bible Study Group last night, and on my way home I came upon a few places that the water was already standing a few inches deep! Thanks again! Please say prayers for people in flood or slide zones! Hills and roadways giving away have happened nearby in past years. I haven't heard exactly what's happening right now, I'll try to watch the news later, but we still have roads and bridges that collapsed LAST winter ('07-'08) that are not done being repaired yet!
