I am a single mother of two wonderful girls, 16 & 10. I have spent the last three months researching homeschooling for a business proposal I have been working on and really like what I see. In public schools we have dealt with extreme bullying and my daughters are constantly ill from parents sending their sick children to school. If the proposal is accepted our lives will change dramatically and I will be able to perhaps finally take over their education. Please keep your fingers crossed for us ... hopefully I will be able to work from home and develop the program. In the meantime, however, I have been using what I have learned from my homeschool research to supplement their education ... Welcome to the board! I pray that your proposal is accepted and you are able to direct the education of your children. It's a tough spot to be in, to need to work when you just don't want to. I'm from PA, too. I was born and raised in The Burgh. I miss it terribly and hope to move back some day in the not too distant future.
