We've (that's the royal 'we', my husband doesn't actually do the schooling, but he is supportive) been homeschooling our six kids for a little over six years now. We have all boys and it's tons of fun, plus a whole lot of work and stress. We use a classical method of homeschooling, latin and all. I prefer a rigourous and very academic approach. The kids would prefer unschooling. We live on ten acres in North Idaho in the forest and near the lakes. I look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome! I grew up in Idaho. (Boise area) I would love to get my hubby up that direction...but he is not all that enamored with cold. sigh. Six kids in the forest...sounds like paradise to me! Welcome again and enjoy the forum.
Welcome! I am in SoCal. We are working on our seventh year of homeschooling. Our older girls graduated from public school and are on there own now.
