Hello from Ny

Hi I'm Carrie, I live in Ny near Buffalo/Rochester. I have 3 children, Allissa who's 5 and currently attending a private christian school, Trevor who would be 3 but he passed away at 5.5 months to a heart defect, and McKenna who is just 3 months old. My husband and I will be HS'ing Allissa in the fall

I am mixing curriculums and using pretty much BJU

I live over by Rochester (Henrietta). Are you a member of a local LEAH chapter? Welcome to the boards! You can get alot of great information here.

I am not a member yet though thinking about it for sure.

 

I would definitely find a local LEAH chapter. I love ours. The convention in June was great too, I highly recommend it. Are you a member of HSLDA yet? If not I would recommend that too. Most districts are ok but I know of a few folks that have had some issues and HSLDA has stepped in to help out.
