Hello, everyone! I am new to the forum, although I have been lurking for a bit. Happy to be "officially" joining you. We have three children and this is our first year of homeschooling. (Gulp!) Our DS (J.) will be in fourth grade, DS (C.) will be in first grade, and then our DD (A.) is 13, but newly adopted from overseas and was only in fourth grade in her native country. So we have many layers with her being academically behind and also still learning English. Would love to hear from any other homeschoolers of older internationally adoption kids about what you found helpful in this first year! Really looking forward to this new adventure. I am very thankful to have found this place - you all are very knowledgeable and supportive!
Welcome! No personal experience as a parent, but as a teacher in a border town, I loved eslcafe.com for games, activities, and worksheets to help with teaching English.
