I'm Jodi, SAHM to 3 kiddos (9, 3 and 10 months). I finally bit the bullet and filled out the intent form to homeschool my 9 yr old. Her last two years of PS have been awful and I'm hoping she does much better with HS. I've spent the last 3 or 4 months looking at curriculum and FINALLY got everything in the last couple weeks. Man, thats hard deciding! lol Looking forward to meeting other homeschool parents here
Welcome ! If you got past figuring out curriculum you have done the toughest part. Be prepared for a little adjustment time from ps to home. Been there. And allow yourself to change your own style if and when you need to. Blessing be yours , Leticia:love:
Welcome. The best advice I got when we started homeschooling last year was to let the girls take time to de-school. They had to get used to a different way of learning. It took my youngest a long time to stop raising her hand when she wanted to talk! We love it and are a much closer family now. Beth
