My son has been homeschooling since grade 10 after having a not so great start in High school (only earned 1 credit!) Grade 10 and 11 went very well earning him several credits on a great track to a hopeful grade 12 finish with plenty of college options. Well Grade 12 started and things did not go so smooth. He lost interest. Decided he wanted to take a year off before even deciding on college. After struggling with him to complete work and many long arguments He is now working on his Hi Set ( our state has adopted this over the GED)... It is was not my first choice but it will get us thee. In fact, they had told us it would take him about three months to finish and it turns out he is ready for all the exams and will be done WAY sooner than that.. He has also done several accuplacer tests which showed him to be well ready for college level academics....

So now I am putting together his transcripts.... Any suggestions on how to add in grade ( (if at all as he was enrolled in public school) and grade 12 as he is completing the Hi Set.

Sorry, I don't know, zachsmom. I know when my son did his GED (his choice not mine) his score sheet served as his "transcript" for him to go to community college. Maybe this is the same?

I HATE, HATE, HATE!!! doing transcripts!!! My only real advice is to do it as you go (spoken from experience!), but that's not helpful now!

I gave whatever grade I felt was most appropriate. Math/science was easier, because I actually had test scores, etc. History and English, not so much. And writing is ALWAYS subjective anyway!
