My twins are turning 7 on Sunday and we really want to give them a fun party. Both being girls, they wanted a party at a gymnastic place but it's 200.00 and we just cannot do that this year. The guests ages range from 3yrs to 15yrs, both boys and girls and there may be about 20 of them since they want to invite the co-op kids.

So, option 1 is having it at a park with a huge playground, good for all ages. Problem being it's first come, first served for the picnic tables and we may not get one.

Option 2 is having it at in-laws big back yard. Great big field and VERY small playground but would need to have various activities for the age range of guests.

Please help me decide and give any ideas you may have for fun activities. Thanks! :)

    Inlaws are FREE!

I'd get a theme!..... make some really cheap bean bag toss games, guessing games, etc.. ask some of the older teens if they know how to make baloon animals, and maybe set up a small picnic blanket with some craft items....... you won't have to "man" any of the games unless you want to...... if you do something like a jelly bean count game (Have 2) so there are 2 winners.... one for older and one easier for youunger guests. (the dollar store is wonderful to start buy a plastic jar with a screw on lid and fill it with something like gum balls in one and larger candies for the younger ones to guess.....

Maybe like corn hoe and ladder ball. You could do something like a ring toss, possibly divide the kids into teams and have them go from one station to another. Drop clothes pins in a bottle. Another game you could do is tie balloons at the ankle, and you have to stomp on the balloons to break them, while trying to protect yours. Last person with the balloon is the winner.

You could probably also rent a bouncy house thing for about $50.

I think I would do it at the park as there is tons and tons of things to do for all ages. Just have to get there early and I know its not easy but will be worth it in the end.
