ok been there done that one, but mine was blue a pretty one on top of it.

I used WD40 for both of them and it came right out then I washed the dryer down with soap and water then bleach to get rid of the smell. But, try and get it out before it cools down to much or it will be hard to do. Have fun...

Try Goo Gone on the clothing (use as a pre treat and then wash as normal) and if you have oxy clean use some of that when you wash. And for the dryer you can use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or Soft Scrub.

I'd say Magic Eraser and Goo Gone are my friends for such tasks!

I should add that if it doesn't come out the first time DO NOT put the clothing in the dryer until you repeat the stain removal process.

I COULD honestly say that this is ONE thing that has NEVER happened to me, but am afraid to. The minute I say so, it WILL happen, lol!

I have had a green crayon verses dryer incident...

the dryer was only one week old...
    Ugh...

I just tossed the clothing and cleaned out the dryer tub with a magic eraser, then ran some towels and some tennis balls in it for a good heated spin...

This happened to me a couple weeks ago with a blue crayon, one of the big fat ones! Blue streaks on every piece of clothing in there...most of it light colored clothing! URGH! Magic eraser for the dryer, WD40 for the clothes. HAve fun!

I think the dryer is pretty well done. There are some red streaks left. But I did do a load of towels & didn't get anything on them. I'm doing a load right now. I'll probably worry about the clothes later (my grandfather passed away, so clothes least of my worries)!!! Luckily it didn't get on all the kiddos clothes!!!
