Yes, a wonderful time! Am so glad I decided to make the trip. We even met another crazy homeschooler at the hotel pool the night before from Maine! She may stop in and join us all sometime! I asked DH how my son had done at our friend's house. He said fine, it was MOSTLY uneventful. MOSTLY????? Well, he came home wering OTHER clothes. I thought, Oh no! He peed himself (which he NEVER does!) NOPE! He and her son (his age) were playing in the sandbox, and decided they were dirty, so they "washed off" with the garden hose, LOL! Just little boys behaving like little boys! So, Tina, when are you getting a group together in Texas (though it's a little too far for me, lol!)?

    Jackie.....

I know it use to be hsers were *far and few between*. But now everywhere you go, you either meet some who is hsing or someone who knows of someone hsing...

I hope your weather was better than it is here! The heat index is horrible 102 degrees:eek:  Good grief! I always forget at this time of the year I have to change our schedule. On grocery day,I like doing school work in the am., lunch in town then buy groceries. NOT NOW!We got home at 2:30 and I think we all recuperated all evening long from heatstroke..GEEZE... Then,DH called and ask me about supper? I asked him *what about it? that Supper is *on account*. He said *on account of what?* I said *On account of the fact I have no interest in making it* ..He better bring something home if he was interested in it!!!!:p

My boys,it seems like can be as messy as a whole *team* when they decide. First the idea swirls to ride bikes, then have races, hunt for a few lizards that got away, dig some holes (UMMM YEAH....no particular reason..just holes all over my yard GGGRRRR :rolleyes:D ) then its waterhose time!

Actually Sheila and I will be putting on a *new homeschoolers night in Bryan/College Station, Texas*...Heading down South any time soon?LOL. Anyone going to be near here around July 20? :D We invited the president of the Texas Home School Coalition and his wife to speak, and they have accepted. They have four grown children, one married and have homeschooled at least 16 years.. The room She and I rented can seat 200 people...We are soooo excited! We are inviting everyone local and some of the surrounding counties..Hopefully a couple of groups can pool together some of their resources...We make a pretty good team, so we decided WHY NOT? We needed/wanted the fellowship for the veterans. We also want the newbies to be a little more informed and aware of local activities/support. She and I neither one have a fear of speaking in public or of microphones! She sells Mary Kay, so you know how their meetings go!

Tina why not post your event on www.homeschoolclassifieds.com it is free advertisement for you!!! Just a hint. I think your "on account" was sooooo funny!!:D We will be in Texas over 4th of July so we cant make it but if we were there closer to the date Id beg like a dog to go(hahaha)Sounds like a fun time!!

Well why is it when you are feeling sick everyone calls for pick up!! Last night we had a church and Wal-Mart pick up and a lady who has gallon bags wanted us to pick up at her house!!! Today is offical "if you don't do the laundry well all have to go nacked" day!!Sat. is even worse as we are meeting with a pastor for lunch baseball in the afternoon and sometime I have to lock dh inside the compartment of our motorhome to "find that pesky leak" I can only say one thing about these last 3 weeks we will have here in PA!!

Thank God the school work is done!!!

:D I dont think Id be able to do all this ministry stuff if I had to put in a days school yet!! AHHHHHH!!

I promise to post when we are on our last day before we leave and a full report when we return!!!

God bless and thanks to all who have given to this trip to Mexico!!!
