Hi everyone. I've been reading the posts here for a while and decided it was time to write an intro. I'm a sahm of two boys, aged 5 yrs and 20 months. I have been thinking about homeschooling since I was pregnant with my older son. We finally decided to do it when he was 3 years old and I have been planning ever since. We are very much looking forward to his first year this coming fall, though I'm also nervous about it as well. It turns out I am going back to school in the fall myself as well. I will only be going for a few hours a week and taking some classes online, but that adds to the nervousness a little. I'm hoping I'm not biting off more than I can chew. If anyone has any advice then I'd love to hear it. Thanks!
Hi I am also in NY (WNY). I can understand being nervous, I think we all are when we first start. If you have any particular question just ask. Is your son going into K or 1st? Maureen
Thanks everyone for the welcome. My son just turned 5 in April, so he'll be starting kindergarten. I don't think I have any questions yet. I'm sure I will once we start first grade and have to do paperwork. Thanks again!
