    I thought it was cuzzzz we lives in a BIG 'OLE state. ROFL

    We are 3 hours south of Dallas - 90 min east of Austin and 90 NW of Houston and home to Texas A&M and the George Bush Presidential Library - Whoop!

    We are using the Susan Barton Reading and Spelling System with our dyslexic daughter and it is working out very well.
    She has a website, but haven't been a member long enough to post the website.
    Hope this helps. BTW, we are from Texas, too. Near Lubbock. Hugs from here!

    I'm in Canada but I can totally relate. My son gets average grades on his report cards but I wonder at their standards. He brought home his report card on Friday and had all A's in French (he's in the core English program). Having once been in French Immersion, I can tell you that his French is extremely low. His entire repertoire consists of 15 or 20 words, all of them nouns. I like the way the report card marks make him feel but c'mon...

    He's in grade 5 right now, finishing up at p.s. and we're homeschooling in the fall. BTW, there are huge bullying/shunning issues that are decimating his self-esteem and confidence...better education at home is just the icing on the cake!!!

    I have a DS 10, DD 9 and DD 19 months, and every day is an adventure
