Hi! :0 I'm a relatively new homeschooler that just completed our first year of HSing. Much to the horror of friends and family, I quit my job as a paralegal in May 2009 to homeschool my two boys. (Ages 10 and 13) We have enjoyed our first year of HSing. We plan on homeschooling year-round so that we can take breaks whenever it's convenient and be a little more relaxed about hour HS day. I live in the "Deep South" and have been married for 16 years. I hope to make some new friends here!

Hello and Welcome : ) Another paralegal here who also left the workforce. I left when I had my first dd who is almost 8. We've homeschooled from the beginning. We also are year round homeschoolers. Love that schedule! Love everything about homeschooling. Nice to meet you!
Welcome! We also school on a non-traditional calendar - we start in Jan., and take time when & where we need, and work until we're finished (which is usually sometime aruodn the ned of Oct to mid-Nov).
