My name is Dawn and I have 2 daughters, ages 13 and 14. We started homeschooling this year because my youngest daughter was being bullied, and I was not satisfied with what they were learning, or not learning is more like it. I've been reading some of the posts here, and it seems very helpful and imformative! Look forward to reading more!

Welcome, Dawn! We're quite a mixed group here, in terms of philosophy, lifestyle, experience, and just about anything else you'd care to mention -- but I really love the fact that we all get along so well! Oh, once in awhile someone gets their knickers in a twist - we are human, after all -- but it doesn't last long and is so much less often than some other boards I've been on!!! and when it's over we're all still friends! I hadn't been here very long before this became my favorite place on the web! No questions are "too silly" or "too boring" or "too obvious", so ask away, anything you want to know or share.
