Hello everyone. I am sorry but this may seem brief or blunt. I have been booted out twice before while trying to post an intro so here goes my 3rd try...... My name is Elle (not really). I am a 20something SAHW&M married 5 yrs. We have a DS 3 ( 4 in Nov.) and a DD 1 ( 2 in Oct.) I also babysit a niece 2 ( 3 in March). Anyway... I am not an official homeschooler ( yet). I am hoping to pick up some tips and start trying to get the hang of things for now. And hopefully I will be ready to make it official by the next school year. Welcome to Homeschool Spot Elle! Hopefully you stop getting booted.. that is no fun. My DD is 4 and is a studyaholic. There are lots of ladies here who are have really good tips too.

Hi, I have only been here a short time but it has helped me when I had a question or needed an idea on how to do something. I am homeschooling my youngest two children, both girls, ages 13 and 8. The 13 year old sprained her ankle yesterday afternoon and we spent a long time in the ER so we are taking it easy this morning and I am not stressed over it because the others here helped me see that I am in charge and we don't have to be on a public school schedule. I was so proud to be able to tell the nurse that I didn't need an excuse for school because my daughter was homeschooled! No excuses, no fund raisers, no bullies, no PE when you feel yucky certain times of the month, no gross school food, no stupid homework when the teacher is mad, no making fun of speech problems or freckles or scars from a birth defect on my youngest, no foul language or bus sex, I LOVE HOMESCHOOLING!!! Whew! That felt good! Welcome, I hope you like it here. Beth
oh but Beth.. I did give Sami extra work when I was mad the other day. Muhahaha. But all those other ones sounded like good stuff to avoid.
WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME! THis is a great place! I agree with what Beth said about good reasons to homeschool! THis is our 9th year of "official" homeschooling. I have 3 children: ds15, ds13 and dd9.
