Hi everyone! I just wanted to give a quick intro to the group. I am a mom of 3. DD is 5 (6 in Jan) and DS is 3 and DS2 is 6 months old this week. My DD started homeschool just a few weeks ago. She did go to public K-5 from August until Nov. I have always been open to HS for the past few years but my DH wasn't always open to the idea. I am 33 but have very widely space siblings and my youngest sister is 15 and brother is 14 and my mom has HS them for the past 6 or 7 years. Anyway, I met several HS families when I lived in the Asheville NC area and thought it was something I would like to consider. Then I had DS in June 08 and was a little nervous about beginning HS and having a new baby. I always felt that HS was the right choice for us though and we finally agreed to give it a shot right before Thanksgiving. So far, so good. It has brought us closer already and my older two have began getting along together better already. (DD had a new attitude once she started school and was fighting with her brother ALL the time). So, I am excited to have found this online community and look forward to chatting with all of you.
Welcome!! Glad you found us.....my kids also grew closer together when we started homeschooling a little less than 2 years ago. Of course, they still have their days :lol: but overall, they are much closer than before.
