I actually have a minute on the laptop so I figured I'd do a quick update. I read posts on my nook but rarely post lol. I started at Target on November 19th and still have to stop sometimes and say "Wow! I AM working!" lol. I'm getting an average of 20 hours a week and it still hasn't sunk in. I was sooo nervous and now it is so easy. I am loving being out and it will look so much better on my resume lol. Joyce and Jane both passed their GEDs and graduated on 12-12-12. I know not everyone agrees with doing the GED but especially for Jane this was a big step. I am so proud of both of them. Joyce starts Technical College in January. I found out I have an outstanding balance that is 17 yrs old lol so I can't enroll until I pay that off. I know I will be going back at least by summer but I also know that there is a reason why I'm not starting in January like I planned. I don't know that reason yet but I know there is a reason! Isabella is doing awesome. She is a chunky monkey compared to that scrawny little thing in my profile pic. Her scar is almost non-existent and doing awesome health wise. Jane is due with baby 2, Gianna, on Febrary 9th. So far all blood tests and ultrasounds are showing a healthy baby. The older two grands are almost 7 and 5!! Toni is in 1st grade reading at least 2nd grade and it was nice to hear the teacher tell me that she can tell that we have been working with her. Saundra is in kindy and thank goodness realizes the time and place to be a ham lol. The teacher said she is a leader in a good way and that the other kids use her as an example as to how to act. I will have more time with Royce as my son is moving back up our way. Where has time gone?? When I joined the spot, Joyce was 11 and Toni was the only grand! I miss getting on here more regular but do try to read posts as much as I can. Thanks to all my spot friends who have seen me through thick and thin over the years!
It is so good to hear how you and your family are doing. I miss hearing from you. You have so much going on and such positive news. So glad you like your job. Will you get to stay on after Christmas? I hope so. Keep in touch my friend. Beth
