The First Christmas. It's a clay-animated video of the nativity narrated by Christopher Plummer. It's really beautiful. Puts me in the Christmas spirit.
I had never heard of the Emmet Otter movie until you posted this, then there it was on Netflix tonight under the new holiday category. Ds and I are watching it now.

I like "It's a Wonderful life." I don't like "Christmas Story" so much, but I will watch it with my son if he wants me to. I haven't seen "White Christmas." I also like just plain old feel good movies this time of the year: Radio Sound of Music Faith like Potatoes Have you all seen "Faith like Potatoes?" It is really good. My son wanted it and I asked for it for Christmas last year. I didn't think it would be as good as it is. It is emotional and uplifting and it puts faith in action on film.
I was impressed with Faith Like Potatoes, too! I didn't think I would be. But I didn't like Facing the Giants!
Jackie, I haven't been too impressed with a lot of the Christian films made lately. I may be spoiled, but they seem to fall flat. A little too much of the feel good stuff and not enough raw emotion and real life crises. The ones I think that have fell flat: Fly-wheel Fire Proof I like the point they are trying to make and I appreciate the movies and enjoy them somewhat, but there is something missing. I couldn't do any better, but...
