My first thought in reading the question was the same as Amie's....Huge RV and road-school....
but as I got reading everyone else's ideas I remembered a small dream I had tucked away....

A homeschool RV campground. Learning centers, museums, classes and free learning backpacks (nature study, astronomy, etc...everything you need in a backpack)....but a campground that would be top of the line without the price.

I-pads for the kids (and me!)
    An in-ground pool
A Globe (those things are expensive!)
    50+ acres
    Horses
    Travel, travel, travel!
    A MAID! :D
Separate library (fully stocked, of course!) and schoolroom
A new brain so I could handle it all! ;)

I am so loving this one! BTW-- a lot of the things you described in the class, the lap tops, the kids sitting near the ones who need help and the tutors wandering around to help, a teacher to check the work and grade and instruct as well is how the school my ds an dd graduated from was. It is run by a home school parent whose kids grew up, so he teaches that way. my last ds may grad there too, its where I get to teach sometimes too, lol. So not so far fetched for part of it, the cost is way low though not free hehe.
I like the MMA fighters haha!

I do not have anything specific I would buy. It would be nice knowing the money was available for anything.

I agree with the stuff you want teacher mom.

I would like to add- a personal tutor for some subjects. It isn't that I can't wrap my head around them, although at times it takes me a little bit to get the concept down. It is because some children (my son being one of them) take advice from other people better than their own parents sometimes. He is getting better though.

It is funny how a parent can say, "If you read out loud" or " re-read if you didn't understand" or "If you take notes" or something like that the child will sometimes nod their head and roll their eyes at the same time or something similar. But, when another person says the same exact thing, it seems like the wisest thing ever said.

I would also love to NOT have to work outside of the home 40 hours a week.

ROFL! I soooooo found this to be true when I was teaching karate. Moms who had been nagging their kids for years to pick up after themselves, do their own laundry, etc., suddenly decided that when Sensei said it, it made sense.

I think that's why back in centuries past they invented the apprentice system -- you teach my kid and I'll teach yours, and they'll both learn a trade and we'll both have helpers!

I would have a private teacher come in and teach my kids all the stuff I want them to learn in the way I want them to learn it so I could sit around and be lazy all day.. LOL.. Sorry, BURNED out!!!
