I just finished reading a book out loud to my kids called "The Girl in the Mirror" by an 11 year old homeschooled girl here in AZ. The author is Karley Pillsbury & she came to promote her book at our P.E./Park Day. Our P.E. coach is her coach too but on the other side of town. I though you moms might be interested in reading/purchasing her book to help a fellow homeschooler if possible. We paid $10 for the book but 1/2 of every sale goes to a charity. I usually never spend that much on a book but felt it was a good cause-half to charity & supporting a young homeschool kid/budding author. She & her dad worked on it as a project together and she's writing another one. The family in the book homeschools too. It is very Christian too so some of you may want to skip it.
