There are lots of tutorials online like this one http://bloggingwithamy.com/how-to-make-a-blog-button/ IF you don't like hers-just google "how to make a blog button" there are tons out there that will walk you through the process.
Sonita, I already have yours. lol I used http://www.picnik.com and just uploaded a background (a pic of some artwork I did), cropped to 150 x 150 or 125 x 125 size and then went into 'create' to add borders, wording, etc...

I have a blog. But, really don't know how to do much with it. Learning. does anyone know a web site that will teach me how to set my blog up and make it look nice and put pictures and stuff on. thanks

For some reason this post fell off my radar all weekend. Reviving! lol I will get to adding you all to my blog in the next day. I'll think on the article writing. I've been working on a few. I' also working on a newsletter. used to write monthly ones when I had a homeschool website. Thinking on reviving them.
There are so many places online that can help with blog building, I don't know where to point you directly. I also don't know which blog you have (ie: blogger, wordpress, something else...) but when searching for help, google something like 'set up a simple blogger blog' or 'wordpress blog help' something like that. Holler if you need HTML help. I can do that.
