    Hi,

I was a member on here last year because I thought I might home school during the 2010-2011 school year. Instead, I kept my job at a small private school, and my daughter is in 2nd grade at the same school.

Now, it seems there is a very good possibility that my husband will be with a missions program teaching at a university in China next year. I would also be involved with the program, but not as a teacher. My role would be to home school our daughter and and provide a place for students to meet and learn English on an informal basis. I'm pretty excited about the prospect of home schooling, but I do wonder how difficult it might be overseas with limited English resources. We will be able to take some curriculum with us of course. Just wondering if anyone else has home schooled in another country?

How cool! We had a member a good number of years back who was in China. Her husband was an undercover missionary there, teaching English to the Chinese. They eventually came back to Oregon, but I've lost track of her long ago.
